  • This artwork marked the beginning of my experiments of adding copper to my work. The canvas was cut to reveal the beautiful copper sheet stuck underneath the canvas. The colours represent Gandhiji's search for truth - leaving the darkness and walking towards the light.

    Mahatma Gandhi was an Indian lawer, social activist and writer who lead the nationalist movement against the British rule who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India's independence from British rule. His autobiography is called 'My EXperiments withTruth’
